With more than 20 years of leadership experience across Operations, Technology, Product Management, and Client Services, Sean has built his career serving commercial client segments with a deep focus on Transaction Banking. Prior to joining Amalgamated Bank, Sean held senior roles at HSBC within Global Transaction Banking, where he led initiatives supporting high value payments for financial institutions and large corporate clients. Earlier in his career, he was part of Cathay Bank’s Strategic Planning Group, where he helped advance the cash management product suite as the bank diversified its commercial client base.
As Amalgamated’s Chief Information & Operations Officer, Sean oversees Information Technology, Enterprise Data, Product Management, Client Experience, and all back office operational functions, including Loan Servicing, Deposit Operations, Item Processing, Cash Management and Payment Operations, Custody Operations, the Contact Center, Facilities, and the Bank’s real estate strategy and footprint.
