Amalgamated Bank Launches New Philanthropy Division Led by Anna Fink

The hiring of Anna and the creation of this new position will allow us to strengthen our partnerships with charitable nonprofits and foundations to advance our mission of providing hardworking individuals and families access to affordable banking.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Amalgamated Bank, the leading national progressive bank, announced that Anna Fink joined its Washington, D.C office as First Vice President for Philanthropy. In this role, Ms. Fink will be responsible for growing and serving a new client base that works on solving today’s pressing issues.

Anna has been at the forefront of building new strategies, approaches and alliances to advance significant change, and we are thrilled to have her leading this work.”

Ms. Fink comes to the bank with more than fifteen years of public policy advocacy and philanthropy experience, including with some of the nation’s leading nonprofits, foundations and organizations. Most recently, she led the Women’s Equality Program at the Wyss Foundation, was a senior advisor for philanthropy and innovation at the AFL-CIO, and worked at the New World Foundation overseeing grant-making initiatives as a senior program officer.
