Information regarding the California Consumer Privacy Act

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is intended to enhance privacy rights and consumer protection for residents of California. Under this Act, you have the right to access, request deletion, opt-out, and object to sale of personal information. In order to help you fill out the Data Request form, we have defined several key words that may help you through the process.

Information Request- You can request to know what personal information Amalgamated Bank has on you. (Example: purchase history, browsing history, location data, biometrics)

Personal Data Deletion- You can request Amalgamated Bank to delete personal information it has collected from you. (There are certain instances where this information cannot be deleted due to regulatory requirements or to maintain your banking relationship)

Former Customer- A person who has not had a relationship with the Bank for more than 12 months

Current Customer- A person who has a relationship with the Bank during the past 12 months or more

Other- You can choose the option “Other” If you are making a request on behalf of someone else or if you do not fall under former or current customer.
