Google PayTM allows Android users to make in store, in-app and online payments using an eligible Amalgamated Bank debit Mastercard®1.

To tap to pay with Google Pay just add your Amalgamated Bank debit card to Google Wallet. Google Wallet may be pre-installed on select devices. If the app is not already on your device, simply download it from Google Play.

  1. Open the Google Wallet app.
  2. At the bottom, select “Add to Wallet” and select “payment card.”
  3. Select “new credit or debit card.”
  4. To add a card, use your camera or choose “Enter details manually” and select “Save.”
  5. Read and accept the Bank terms and conditions.
  6. Verify your payment method and choose a verification option.
  7. Enter verification code to complete enrollment.
  8. Upon completion, you will receive an email or mail notification.

Google Pay is compatible with most modern Android devices, including Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher, NFC and HCE support.

Standard Debit Card, Enhanced Debit Card, Enhanced Donate the Change Debit Card, and Business Debit Cards. Give-Back Enhanced Debit Mastercards are not currently eligible.

Google Pay is accepted in-stores, in-app, and online. Look for the Google Pay logo or Contactless Symbol at checkout for in-store purchases.

  1. Open the Google Wallet app.
  2. At the top of the screen, swipe until you find the card that you want to set as your default.
  3. Select the card.
  4. At the bottom, click “Details.”
  5. Make your card the default for tap to pay.

You will have zero liability for unauthorized use of your debit card or PIN.
